Well, for me I care about the music above all else, and if a bootleg
can do a better job than otherwise (in this case it can't) so be it.
I wouldn't mind supporting a bootlegger if he captures better music
the artists label, obviously the label needs help (again, not in this
situation). But given the value I've seen people place on bootlegs,
your though surprises me (just a little). I as well wish for the
artist to be well rewarded, and I certainly wouldn't buy a bootleg
before having given my share (i.e. bought lots of records), that would
be unfair & would hurt the artist (which is not what we want). Or if
the same quality (or better) was available somewhere else. In this
case, it isn't.
